Gorgeous, Gail! I know what you mean about the beaks - baby birds have always got what looks like scrambled eggs in the corners of their mouths, don't they?!
I love that about spring, actually. 'Look at that baby robin', I'll say to Jim. 'It's so young it's still got its scrambled eggs'!
You know, I wrote chapter 4 on Tues, after getting home from hosp on Monday—long story, but chapter 4 was short.
I clicked on the button that said to post it today.. I got nothin! I think it went off into cyberspace! I can’t even find it in my “pages”. But I’ll keep looking.
Chapter 4 was embedded in Chapter 3 as “Day 4”. I was writing each day and chaptering them as the day I had them. But chapter 3 and 4 weren’t that long, so I combined them. LOL! 🤦🏻♀️
Full disclosure:
My brain has been a little wonky as of late, I am in the throes of getting over a 3 day stay in an out of state hospital last weekend. They put me on IV antibiotics for three days. It seems I have a bad UTI and kidney infection which hit me hard on my drive back from a stay at my daughter’s last week. However I drove 5 plus hours in pain hoping to get home to my local hospital. But my body had had enough with only 1 1/2 hours left to go. Fortunately my son lived close enough at the exit I got off at where I couldn’t drive anymore, and came and rescued me taking me to nearest hospital.
My husband came up and got me on Monday, and I’m home now on oral antibiotics for the next 10 days.
So when I wrote the last chapter (5) I too was confused as to what happened to chapter 4 and was not sure whether to chapter it as 4 or 5. Anyway. Bear with me as I get back to rights mentally and physically. I’m a terrible patient. But I have to listen to my body. I don’t know why she chose this point in time to break down this way. But hey, it’s only temporary. And this too shall pass.
I do have a follow up with my primary physician today.

It’s one of those mysteries. 🤷🏻♀️
Oh, I see below you figured it out, lol!
perhaps it's saved as a draft? I've discovered a few drafts I never even knew I'd saved, lol.
Oh gosh, Gail, I hope all's well. 😘
And it's so irritating when cyberspace kidnaps a post - grrrrrrrrr. Been there!

Hi Sue, thank you for this info, I did look there, but it turned out that chapter 4 was labeled as “Day 4” in with Chapter 3. My bad!
Hi Rebecca, I finally just did figure it out!
